A Salisbury fuel company since 1927.

We started with coal oil for cookstoves and lanterns. Today we deliver propane, heating oil and fuel, and service heating and cooling equipment, across the Eastern Shore.

Our history

1927. Taylor Oil began in the office of J.W. Taylor Produce, in the back room of an old potato house off West Main Street at the Old Farmer’s Auction Block. The first products were coal oil for cookstoves and lanterns, and farm gasoline.

1940. The company moved to West Isabella Street.

2027. Our 100th year.
